Thin White Line is a 400 meter line drawn in lime, dividing the Dalieh of Raouche into two parts. The land north of the line is protected from construction and the land to the south is land that can be built upon. Lime – derived from limestone which forms the rocky landscape of Dalieh – is often used in the construction industry to produce mortar and plaster, among others. The line will be at the mercy of the natural elements, and will eventually disappear.
